Day 1 (17/1/07 Wed) Went to school with an extra heavy bag. Lucky I have my dad to drive me. Arrived to school and had the usual flag rising and announce before moving up the hall for a briefing before setting off.Had a few ice-breaking games in the hall with my Instructor Sophia. Thought that the camp was going to be boring as most of my groupmates were looking so sian.. Set off for Jalan Bahtera after that. Our first activity was Kayaking!! Was teamed up with Kunyuan and had to go through the water confidence test before we were allowed to Kayak. Kayaking was really fun:)(although the one really making the Kayak move was Kunyuan).Shall end here because I cant remember what we did.
Day 2 (18/1/07 Thur) Was woken up by the boys opposite our 'hut' at 6.15am. Went for breakfast which was fried bee hoon and milo. Had camp preparation next where we spent time trying to decide what we want to perform. Decided on dancing in the end and we spent like forever to decide on the song. Chose 'smack that''by Akon and had like 20 mins to think of the dance steps. We managed to do it thanks to Ken who had the chorus steps in mind. Had Abseling next and then the high elements before and after lunch. However the highlight of the day was NATURE RUMBLE where I had the worst time of my life.Had to go into the forest and walk through the mud path,where I screamed my way through, to the mud pool. Then, everyone had to LIE in the mud pool to get out shirst completely filled with mud. (it was kinda fun, but just a tiny tiny tiny bit). Did mud facial for each other next.Thank god we left after that.Most of us were running barefooted in the rain as we throwed the shoes away. Thank god we got to shower after that.Got dinner and bla bla bla after the shower( I still smell like mud after I wash myself 2 times with soap). The Campfire was the next highlight. Really had fun screaming,cheering(lost my voice though) and watching the performance of the other classes. Was kinda nervous during our performance. Forgot some of the steps and lost my timing.Haiz...but it was still fun to perform..Had a de-brief with our instructor where she was speaking so passionately about how she felt about us. Hahax Went to bed and fell asleep about 5mins after I close my eyes.
Day 3 (19/1/07 Fri) Was kinda glad that I'm going home but at the same time, felt sad that I was leaving the camp. Anyway.. slept all the way in the bus back to Riverside as I was really tired. Went home by bus with Yi Lin and her friends.(Dad was too busy to fetch me).Had a nice hot bath and unpacked. Now, using the com while chatting with friends on MSN..
Am missing Sophia and Melvin,our instructors. They are really nice people..seriously..Love you guys!!!:(
